Darcy Cudmore is a Journalism graduate-turned-PR person who loves the rush of securing a win for his clients. Even after 4+ years of working in the industry, he still gets just as excited when he sees a client get mentioned or featured. He spends his time doing a little bit of everything, from pitching the press to securing links through platforms like HARO and Qwoted.
When he isn’t working, Darcy can be found reading (quite possible it’s a Stephen King novel), cheering on the Ottawa Senators, or traveling around Canada in his tiny trailer with his girlfriend and their pug, Lily.
Accomplishments:
- Named the recipient of the Hartwell Daley Award for his graduating Journalism class as the top student.
- Very proud of all the secured press I’ve secured for clients through organic, tactical processes, including Vice, TechCrunch, Wall Street Journal, and more.
- Being able to work with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators for multiple seasons on their social media strategy campaigns in partnership with Ford Canada.
