Do Google Posts Need Unique Content?

We get lots of questions from multi-location businesses about content for Google posts.  Many businesses wonder if you need to have unique posts for each location or if you can simply post the same thing across several locations. The great news is that you absolutely can use the same post for each of your locations.

For example, let’s say you’re a pizzeria with multiple locations and you have a special going on.  You can feel free to post about that special on every location page.

Since posts do not get indexed and are not a ranking factor, you will not have any issues with the duplicate content filter.

Pro Tip: Make sure you avoid using stock photos or photos that are copyrighted to avoid your posts getting rejected though.
