Videos Finally Come to Google My Business
It looks like the option to upload videos to a Google My Business listing has finally arrived. This was just spotted in one of our clients dashboards:
The ability to add a video to a local listing VIA Google Maps was first noticed back in August, 2017. But this is the first time the option is showing up inside of the GMB dashboard.
Where does the video display live?
We posted our first video about ten minutes ago and it has yet to appear in the wild. I am guessing it will display wherever photos display (Knowledge Panel, Google Maps). Google will likely add a separate “Video” (sub)tab on mobile like they already do for this listing for Voodoo Doughnut in Portland:

Nothing yet for any of my clients either.
Is this feature only for business owners or can customers add videos as well….similar to photos?

Video isn’t an option in our dashboards yet. We’re one brand with 13 locations in USA & Canada.

I saw this post check some of my accounts and was able to see the screen above. Now I went back to do some posts and the video option has disappeared for my accounts

We’re seeing it in our dashboard for dentists! But I don’t see our uploaded video anywhere public yet.
